Brendan Dell is a doctoral student in the Department of Political Studies at Queen’s University
I am a doctoral student in the Department of Political Studies at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. I am studying Canadian politics and comparative politics.
My research focuses broadly on Canadian law and politics. Specifically, much of my research explores the interinstitutional relationship between, and behaviour of, the government and the judiciary on constitutional issues. My dissertation explores the strategic use of courts by provincial governments in constitutional cases.
Before joining Queen’s University, I completed a M.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice Policy (2022), and a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Public Policy (2020) from the University of Guelph.
